“One reason why sin flourishes is that it is treated like a cream puff instead of a rattlesnake.”
– Billy Sunday
I recall reading that quote in one of my Christian Daily Planner journals when I was about ten years old. It didn’t strike me as being a very profound quote at the time, but it remained vivid in my mind. Then one day I fully comprehended the point – people treat sin like a cream puff by telling themselves, “Just a little taste of it here and there won’t hurt anybody,” when they should be avoiding it like a deadly, venomous snake. Perhaps out of fear of working too hard to be pure and righteous – as many fantasize our old-fashioned ancestors to have done – our nation at the relatively youthful age of 233 is a land of cream puffs that don’t see the serpent coming.
“We’ll overtake you soon because we have more children than you,” a Muslim doctor once told my great-uncle. I’m sure we’ve all heard some variation of the fact before: the average Muslim family has 8.1 children, while the American birth rate barely reaches the bare minimum for a culture to survive beyond 25 years – 2.11 children – and that is counting the influx of Latino immigration. Discounting the immigrants, the fertility rate of American citizens is a scanty 1.6. This means that there is a good chance the United States of America could become an Islamic-dominated nation (along with European nations) within 50 years unless something changes soon…

Amanda……This is crazy. Any committee that calls themselves remotely scholarly would just look at this in amazement. You used Youtube as one of your sources….and fox. If your looking for numbers on population percentages……Why not check the Census department?…..http://factfinder.census.gov/servlet/ACSSAFFFacts?_event=&geo_id=01000US&_geoContext=01000US&_street=&_county=&_cityTown=&_state=&_zip=&_lang=en&_sse=on&ActiveGeoDiv=&_useEV=&pctxt=fph&pgsl=010&_submenuId=factsheet_1&ds_name=null&_ci_nbr=null&qr_name=null®=null%3Anull&_keyword=&_industry=………
I don’t even know how to go about this……..Its paranoia at its highest. Almost clinical Paranoid Schizophrenia…..Amanda the world is not out to get you…..There are not Muslims hiding in your closet waiting for you to fall asleep so they can cut your head off. You want to create and army of bread robot Christians waiting for the wave of a RNC leader to move to action against anything you mark as “Evil”. This is like some twisted fiction… I am glad your a minority because it would be a scary place to live if you called the shots……Complete destruction of the American constitution and the American Dream, And the entire tear down of all christian principles and a new era of satanic rule would begin. Scary thought……I am glad we have a majority to stay on a more positive note ^_^ .
That article was not doom-and-gloom. I am not paranoid. I know the world is not out to get me. I am only saying that birth control is a silly, selfish and economically senseless idea. You are the one living in a fantasy, imagining that Christians are “breeding robots” (that’s offensive, by the way) to tear down the “American dream”. At least, I think that’s what you meant to say. If I take your word for it, you actually said an army of “bread robots”, and though some of us like making homemade bread, I’ll give you extra credit and assume that’s not what you seriously meant.
Listen, salvation does not rest in government power. Obama is not the Messiah. I think you are far more likely to wake up to a harsh and uncomfortable reality than I am.
Obama once pointed out, “The Constitution says a lot about what the Government can’t do for America, but it doesn’t say much about what the Government can do.”
That’s because the Government isn’t supposed to do anything but offer protection and order, genius. The Founding Fathers had been harassed by a government trying to get too involved with them, and they wisely set our Constitution up to avoid such problems. Now, the adulteration has begun…and we need to kick some jokers out of Congress.
Hey, even the White House has a YouTube account. The YouTube links were for people to watch news videos. The Census webpage there offers demographic percentages, but I was tracking the overall birthrate.

^ That info lines up with what I wrote. Does that satisfy you?
I only cited Fox once and that was for the article on Russia’s “Conception Day”. Who cares?
