Last weekend I learned that Glenn Yarbrough, American folk singer and Army veteran of the Korean War, passed away at the age of 86. This talented musician with a memorable vibrato voice brought J.R.R. Tolkien’s lyrics to life, forming one of the most memorable soundtracks of my siblings’ and my childhood.
