It is a pleasure to accept an invitation to the birthday party of a lovely blogger, homeschooler and Christian young lady…who also shares my first name (along with some other great blogging friends on HSB)!
The name Amanda is said to have first received popularity after a 17th-century British playwright gave it to a beloved wife in one of his plays. He invented it for that character based on Latin root words meaning, “Worthy of Love”. {I thought that was a bit neat}.
Super Angel, you are the kind of friend I would like to have next door! To be quite honest, I hardly have any friends where I live now either. Nearly all of my friend connections are by correspondence. But I feel no lacking at all in that…besides having plenty of siblings to keep me preoccupied (
), I get wonderful inspiration from your blogs. You have great ideas and a unique blog that finds creative ways of communicating CHRIST’s glory. Such as through your Superman theme! It’s rare to know someone that is also the eldest daughter and child in a family of 8 children (5 girls and 3 boys to be exact) and shares the same vision.
The dress I wanted to photograph is my old fashioned homemade dress, but unfortunately it still isn’t finished yet.
But I suppose this one has a fancy farm girl look…
